STARMOVES COLLEGE - JUNIORS LEAGUE
Starmoves Juniors League is a great program for students who want to start a dance career as a dancer or coach. The Hip Hop dance structure is learned step by step and with all the important Hip Hop basics, as well as Hip Hop social dances. The students dance from Level 1 – “Trainee” to Level 7 – “Chief” and learn new basics and movements at each level, which prepare them for the next level and improve their coordination.
LEVEL 1 TRAINEE
You have already successfully learned the most important step: you have walked through the door of your dance school. You have practiced the next steps so well in your hip hop classes that you can dance them independently without looking at your teachers. You are on the right track.
LEVEL 2 EXPLORER
You will have reached the second level after just a few weeks. Not only have you mastered the first basic steps, but you can also dance the first turns well. You are also becoming more and more popular in your dance group.
LEVEL 3 DISCIPLE
Now you can’t stand still when the music comes on. You eagerly take on board everything your coaches teach you and continue to develop.
LEVEL 4 ROCKET
You’ve really got off to a rocket start in the last few months. You diligently learned everything you needed to learn up to level 4 from your coaches and also integrated well into the group. Well done – that’s how you climb further and further into dancing heaven.
LEVEL 5 EXPERT
You are becoming more and more of a dance expert. In addition to individual steps and turns, more and more isolations are added. If you don’t succeed straight away, don’t give up, but keep practicing until you can do it and keep getting feedback from your coaches.
LEVEL 6 STRIKER
You have reached level 6 and are only a few steps away from the final level in the Juniors League. Since you manage one “strike” after the next, you have really earned the “Striker” badge. You handle the music independently and can move to the beat without the help of your coaches. Keep up the good work!
LEVEL 7 CHIEF
WOW! You have reached the highest level and are not only the chief in the Juniors League, but have also become a role model for your fellow dancers in the course. You were ambitious and hard-working and therefore learned all the steps in your League. You now find it easy to work with music and are ready to learn more steps and take on new challenges. Great job!
